I can tell by looking at the footage I shoot almost exactly what I was feeling then in the moment when I hit record. The footage I took at the Cascadas el Chiflon in Chiapas in 2012 was such a case. It is a tranquil place at the base of a huge waterfall, but the darkness and quiet amongst the dull roar overhead was so soothing it affected my shot process.
