The most cost-effective sound monitoring for editors

I spent YEARS working with shitty monitors for editing. The nob was falling apart and you had to shake it to get BOTH of them to work. Finally I saw the light and decided it was time to hear better. At first I contemplated the ROKIT speakers, but my brother-in-law told they are too much like BEATS headphones, only people using those speakers hear the sound that way. Better to get a pair that are solid but not overly stylized.

So I’ve gone with the JBL 305’s. They’ve worked so well I’ve bought a second pair at my last job. For $149 a peace that’s not a ton to spend, they don’t need any separate amp or anything to operate. Good stuff.

But if you really do like ROKIT sound….
