#22 What a difference Lighting makes

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_video link=”http://youtu.be/jB6m5M6aUPA”][vc_column_text]Day 22 of the 31 days challenge. I’ve shown you a previous rig, but here is a step-by-step process of what each light brings to the shot, leading to the final product, showcasing what a difference lighting makes.

In this instance, I used 4 lights. Here’s my process.

1.) I lit for the window so you could see the flowers defined without being too bright.
2.) Key light on the subject.
3.) Fill light on the subject, also adds some fill to the space.
4.) Background fill.
5.) Key light on the chair to add more intrigue.

You might also want to add a back-light (or hair light) to separate your subject from the background. Because of a lack of available space and extra lights, I decided to just fill the background instead of designating a back-light on just the subject.

Hope this helps for all you who are looking to make your interviews better.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]
